Game Day Pizza Dip

@gourmet_gents has a take on game day pizza dip. “Pizza delivery places are always crazy busy on the day of a sporting event so why not make your own one-pan smoke-kissed pizza dip on your Yoder at home instead?” We can’t argue with that! Check out this delicious and simple pizza dip for your next gathering.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound cooked and drained hamburger meat (you can use sausage too of course).
  • 2 blocks cream cheese.
  • 1 bag (or more if you like) shredded Mozzarella cheese.
  • Pizza/spaghetti sauce of your choosing (I added one whole jar or so but I like sauce haha).
  • Your favorite pizza toppings (pepperoni, sautéed onion, green pepper, etc.)
  • A few dollops of ricotta cheese for extra creaminess.
  • Your favorite pizza spices (red pepper flakes, dried oregano, etc.)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Bring cream cheese to room temperature
  2. Prep your ingredients if need be, ie sautéed onion
  3. Preheat your Yoder Smokers grill to 275 degrees
  4. Place all ingredients except spices into the cooking container of your choice and mix
  5. Finally, top with your favorite pizza spices
  6. Put the pan into the smoker and let it go for about 2 hours, stirring about every half hour
  7. Serve it up with Italian bread and enjoy!
