INGREDIENTS
- Pack of sausage
- Pack of bacon (cut in half)
- 1 block of cream cheese
- 1c cheddar shredded
- 1 tbsp relish
- BBQ seasoning
- Jar of thin sliced pickles
INSTRUCTIONS
- Slice sausage into 1/4 in “coins”
- Wrap a pickle slice & 1/2 bacon slice around the sausage
- Secure with a @grillpinz or toothpick
- Mix cream cheese, seasoning to taste, cheddar and relish
- Place the mix into a piping bag, make sure it’s warm so that it squeezes out easily
- Fill the “shot” shaped bacon wrapped sausage
- Season the outside of the bacon
- Top with a small slice of cherry tomato or a jalapeño if you like spice
- Place on a wire rack for the grill
- Smoke at 275°f until the bacon gets crisp. This may take 45min- 1 hour depending on your bacon thickness
- Serve while warm
