Custom YS1500S Outlander

When we debuted the YS1500S Outlander it didn’t take long for a custom build request to come through our inbox. This custom Outlander, built around the Yoder Smokers YS1500S pellet cooker, is tricked-out with more than some stunning curb appeal. Of course, just like the standard YS1500S Outlander you have 1,500 square inches of cooking space governed by the Yoder Smokers ACS. Together with our patented heat management system (HMS) it’s a knockout when it comes to precision control over the temperature zones inside the cooker. Plus the Outlander package already adds a 40-pound pellet hopper with pellet dump, boiler-style hopper door, and rugged all purpose cart. The cart features an integrated pull handle and cleverly designed steering axle. This new steering axle design provides a much tighter turning radius and makes the cooker much simpler to move, no matter the venue. For tools and extra pellets you have an expanded metal lower storage area below the cooking chamber. Prep space is there when you need it with a large stainless steel folding front shelf at the front of the pit. Finally, this custom Outlander is outfitted with some cool upgrades, starting with 14” MSA Beadlock wheels wrapped in 22” offroad tires. A polished chrome smokestack shines like a beacon and features a custom-cut YS logo damper. And last, at front of the cart, a laser-cut American flag leads the way.
