INGREDIENTS
- ½ white onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- ¾ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons Mexican oregano
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- Large pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine ingredients and mix well.
2. Add the skirt steak (or whatever protein you’re using) to the marinade, ensuring it’s fully coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight for maximum flavor.
3. Grill hot and fast over charcoal until desired doneness. Thank me later!
