Smoky Candied Pecans

Try this unique recipe on your smoker and indulge your senses with Smoky Candied Pecans!! Their crunchy texture and sweet caramelized taste blend together perfectly, resulting in a heavenly flavor experience.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • 10 oz raw pecan halves
  • 1 tsp Noble Saltworks Smoked Finishing Salt
  • 1 jar Noble Saltworks Maple Turbinado Smoked Raw Sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your smoker (or oven) to 275°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk egg whites and water together until frothy.
  3. Combine the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly until everything is evenly dispersed.
  4. Spread out evenly on a half sheet pan and place in the smoker for 25 minutes.
  5. Stir all the pecans and redistribute evenly. Cook for another 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from the smoker, cool, and enjoy by itself or as a topping for yogurt, cereal, and the like.
